Room to gather — assisted living on 6th Street, Limon

The 6th Street home offers assisted living — 24/7 personal support with bathing, dressing, medication, meals, and companionship, close to town amenities in Limon. It is our larger Limon home, but it is still a residential house rather than an institution, so the care stays personal and unhurried. I'm a Registered Nurse and I oversee every resident's care plan myself.

Busier, in the good way. With 28 rooms there is almost always someone in the living room, a table to join at mealtimes, and something happening in the activity room. Residents who have spent a year or two alone at home often tell me that is the part they did not know they were missing. If your mother would rather have quiet, I would point you to Circle Lane instead — that is an honest difference between the two, not a sales line.

They are less than half a mile apart and they suit different people. 6th Street is the bigger, more sociable of the two — 28 private rooms, an activity room, a space for worship, and large shared living and dining rooms. Circle Lane is the quiet one: a calm residential street, private and semi-private rooms, and far less coming and going. Come see whichever sounds more like your parent, and if it is the wrong fit when you get here I will tell you.

Every medication is given by our QMAP-certified staff under my RN oversight, with every dose tracked and every change shared with the family. It's one of the first worries families hand to us, and we take it seriously.

Yes, when we have a room open. Whether a caregiver needs a break or a loved one needs to recover somewhere safe for a while, respite stays are welcome — just call and we'll tell you what's available.

We're on 6th Street in Limon, at the crossroads of I-70 and Highway 24 — easy to reach from Hugo, Genoa, Flagler, Stratton, and the Front Range when families come to visit.

Our monthly rate covers your room, meals, daily personal care, medication management and the everyday support that makes a house feel like home — there is no separate care-level fee on top. What moves the number is the level of care needed, room type, and which home you choose. We accept Medicaid, Long-Term Care insurance, VA benefits and private pay, and I'm glad to walk through exactly what your family's situation would look like.
